Christina Barrington PharmD

Christina Barrington, PharmD, is Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer at Priority Health. She leads all aspects of the pharmacy division. In this role, she is responsible for setting strategy for the pharmacy department and managing the pharmaceutical services budget across the organization.

Dr. Barrington has over 20 years of health plan and health system experience and has served in an executive role for 16 years at various entities. Dr. Barrington is recognized nationally as a thought leader and expert in her field. She has served on several national boards and has been asked to lobby on Capitol Hill on numerous occasions. During her career, Dr. Barrington has managed all functional pharmacy services and developed and implemented cutting edge strategies for all business segments, including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. In addition, she has held positions responsible for managing and overseeing clinical quality performance.

Dr. Barrington is the incoming President of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, a professional organization representing the interests of pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.
