Sandy Srinivas, MD, is Professor of Medicine in the Department of Oncology at Stanford University Medical Center and a member of Stanford Cancer Institute. She also serves as the Vice-Chair for Stanford University’s Data Safety Monitoring Committee and the Unit-Based Medical Director of Stanford Hospital.

Dr. Srinivas earned her medical degree from Madras Medical College in India. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, New York and a postdoctoral fellowship in oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Srinivas is a nationally recognized expert in the field of urologic oncology and takes care of patients with prostate, bladder, kidney, testes, penile and adrenal cancers. She has practiced in this field for more than 20 years. She is the clinical research group leader for the Urologic Program at Stanford and is the Principal Investigator for numerous ongoing trials in urologic oncology.

Dr. Srinivas is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Association of Northern California Oncologists. She is an eight-time past-recipient of the Stanford University Clinical Fellows Teaching Award and has authored and co-authored numerous publications and book chapters.

Dr. Srinivas is the Vice-Chair of the NCCN Prostate Cancer Panel and serves as a member of the Panel’s Value Pathways Task Force. She also is a member of the NCCN Quality and Outcomes Committee and serves as an advisor to the NCCN Oncology Research Program.
