Robert I. Haddad, MD, is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Haddad also serves as the Division Chief of the Head and Neck Oncology Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Dr. Haddad earned his medical degree from St. Joseph’s University French Faculty of Medicine, in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Haddad’s research interests include the role of chemotherapy and radiation in organ preservation in head and neck cancer, novel agents in head and neck cancer, and cytoprotection in head and neck cancer.

Dr. Haddad is a member of various professional societies and servers as an ad hoc reviewer for many prominent journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine, Head and Neck, and Oral Oncology. Additionally, Dr. Haddad has authored more than 100 original articles, reviews, and book chapters on topics related to head and neck cancer. He is on the editorial board for JNCCN.

Dr. Haddad is the Chair, Imaging and Radiation Reviewer of the NCCN Thyroid Carcinoma Panel. He is a member of the NCCN Head and Neck Cancers Panel, and is involved in the NCCN Oncology Research Program.
