Virtual Event Terms and Conditions

NCCN is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and NCCN staff. These are terms and conditions governing your participation in any NCCN owned and operated virtual event. By registering for the NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted them.



1. Participant Expectations

1.1 Access:
Registration entitles you to access to the NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and NCCN shall have no liability for such costs.

1.2 Virtual Platforms:
This event is being delivered virtually and as such NCCN will provide guidelines on best operating systems to use for optimal participation. By default, no content needs to be accessible via a firewall or VPN. However, NCCN cannot control the default restrictions set by your internet provider, organization firewalls, or virus protection software. Refunds will not be provided to participants that are unable to attend the virtual meeting due to local disruptions in internet service or technical difficulties as described above.

1.3 Use of Likeness:
By participating in NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, you acknowledge and agree to grant NCCN the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness at the event in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you.

1.4 Limitations of Use:
By registering for NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by the Organizer. If NCCN determines that you have violated this policy, NCCN may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, and may ban you from future NCCN events.

1.5 Disruptive Behavior:
You acknowledge and agree that NCCN reserves the right to remove you from the NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, without warning or refund if NCCN, in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behavior creates disruption or hinders the Virtual Event or the enjoyment of the Virtual Event content by other participants. Examples of disruptive behavior include but are not limited to:

a) Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
b) Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, NCCN staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
c) Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events organized by NCCN throughout the Virtual Event.

All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any NCCN virtual event staff. NCCN reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.

1.6 Use of Event Materials:
No part of the NCCN 2021 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies, including handout materials and slides, may be recorded, rebroadcasted, reproduced, or transmitted in any other form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, without first obtaining written permission from NCCN. Participants are permitted to print a copy of handouts for personal use only.



2. Refund Policy

Attendees will have the opportunity to cancel and receive a full refund, less a 25% administrative fee, as long as the cancellation is received by September 17, 2021. No refunds will be granted after this date. Refunds will be not be provided to registrants that are unable to attend the virtual meeting (outside the posted refund deadline), due to technical difficulties with personal or organizational hardware, networking, firewalls or internet disruptions.
