Following the Covid19 hard lockdown procedures in South Africa, rapid modifications to the standard treatment policies were required. One particular change to the Multidisciplinary Meeting procedure was to move the discussion onto a fully digital platform with a number of support structures to facilitate the new requirements while maintaining a lockdown.

Later review of these changes showed that participation from regional colleagues increased and the number of patients who were given support through regional facilities following the implementation of digital systems increased drastically.
