Carol Ann Huff, MD, is Medical Director of The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, where she also holds a faculty appointment as Associate Professor of Oncology and Medicine. Prior to these roles, she served as Director of the Myeloma Program in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies.

Dr. Huff received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University. She is board-certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in medical oncology.

Dr. Huff maintains an active clinical and clinical translational research program. Her clinical research focuses on the development of novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias, including multiple myeloma. Her work examines the clinical translation of novel approaches that target myeloma stem cells in an effort to reduce toxicity and improve the efficacy of bone marrow transplantation for multiple myeloma and related disorders.

Dr Huff has authored many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and monographs in the field of myeloma research and is a national speaker on this topic. She also holds a professional membership with the American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Huff is a member of the NCCN Multiple Myeloma/Systemic Light Chain Amyloidosis/Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Panel. She also served on the NCCN COVID-19 Vaccination Advisory Committee.
