Tara Lacey, NP, MSN, is a Nurse Practitioner at the University of California, San Francisco in the Thoracic and Sarcoma Department and for the inpatient and Infusion Center of Stanford Medical Center specializing in patients with Hematology and Oncology malignancies. She has specialized in caring for patients with cancer for over 20 years and holds certificates in Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner.

Ms. Lacey, a native of Ontario, Canada, earned her nursing degree from the University of Windsor and her master's degree from the University of California, San Francisco with a specialty in oncology and gerontology. She has worked in multiple states throughout the country including Arizona, California, Oregon and Texas.

Ms. Lacey is a published author, presenter and educator on various oncology/hematology topics including treatments, supportive care management and survivorship. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology and works as a clinical faculty at San Francisco State University.
