Philippe Armand MD, PhD

Philippe Armand, MD, PhD, is the Harold and Virginia Lash Endowed Chair in Lymphoma Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), where he also serves as Chief of the Division of Lymphoma. Dr. Armand also holds the position of Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Armand received his medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy in biomedical sciences from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a hematology and oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital. He subsequently completed additional clinical research training with the Harvard School of Public Health, the American Society of Hematology Clinical Research Training Institute, and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
Dr. Armand’s clinical interests include lymphoma and CLL. His research interests center on the treatment of lymphoma, with a special focus on the use of immunotherapy to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Armand is a member of the NCCN Hodgkin Lymphoma Panel and the NCCN Management of Immunotherapy-Related Toxicity Panel.
