Nicole O. Williams, MD, is a medical oncologist who specializes in the management of treatment of patients with breast cancer at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Dr. Williams is the Director of the BreastCARE Program in the Cancer and Aging Resiliency Clinic at OSUCCC – James.
Dr. Williams is a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at OSUCC – James, and her research is focused on treating breast cancer and brain metastases from breast cancer. She is involved in clinical trials investigating new treatments for breast cancer in the neoadjuvant, adjuvant, and metastatic settings. She has co-authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals such as International Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, and International Journal of Cancer.
Dr. Williams received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed her internal medicine residency and a fellowship in geriatrics at Summa Health Care System. She went on to complete fellowships in hematology/oncology and breast oncology at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve Medical Center.
Dr. Williams is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Association for Cancer Research.
