Lauren R. Seipel, DNP, NP-C, AOCNP, BMTCN, is a Nurse Practitioner in Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplant at City of Hope National Medical Center.
Dr. Seipel completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Western University of Health Science and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is a registered nurse, certified Family Nurse Practitioner, an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, and a Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse.
Dr. Seipel is a member of several professional organizations, including the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a past recipient of the UCLA Doctor of Nursing Practice Scholarship and the Recipient of Gorman Family Centennial Nursing Scholarship. She also was awarded CAP professional designation for clinical advanced practice. She has been an invited guest lecturer for regional and national programs on topics related to hematology, CAR T-cell therapy, hematopoietic cell transplant, and nursing education.
