Kelvin A. Moses MD, PhD

Kelvin A. Moses, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, where he also serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Prostate Cancer Clinic and the Director of the Urologic Oncology Fellowship Program. Dr. Moses also is a member of the Vanderbilt Cancer Health Outcomes and Control Research Program.

Dr. Moses earned his medical degree and doctorate of philosophy and from the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a residency at the Emory University School of Medicine and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, during which time he served as Chief Administrative Fellow.

Dr. Moses’ clinical practice focuses on advanced prostate cancer, including several clinical trials, as well as surgical management of advanced renal, penile, and testicular cancer. His research focuses on addressing health disparities in urologic cancers, determining the role of health literacy in patient interactions with the health care system, and optimal care for patients with metastatic and/or castrate-resistant prostate cancer.

Dr. Moses is a member of the NCCN Prostate Cancer Early Detection Panel and serves on the Editorial Board for JNCCN—Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
