Kathy Mooney MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, BMTCN, OCN

Kathy Mooney, MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, BMTCN, OCN, is the Clinical Program Director for Cellular Therapy at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Health System.

Kathy completed her undergraduate studies at James Madison University and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She subsequently received her master’s degree as a clinical nurse specialist from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She holds nursing certifications in oncology, blood and marrow transplant, and adult health.

Kathy specializes in a variety of hematologic malignancies. In her role, she supports multidisciplinary collaboration among physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and social workers to monitor patients for toxicities as they undergo treatments utilizing bispecific antibodies and CAR T-cell therapy. She also has written several peer-reviewed publications.
