Jessica R. Bauman MD

Jessica R. Bauman, MD, is Chief of the Division of Head and Neck Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she also serves as Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Training Program and Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology.

Dr. Bauman earned her medical degree from Weill Medical College, Cornell University. She completed a residency and fellowship in palliative medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Bauman focuses on optimizing communication, quality of life, and palliative and supportive care for patients and their families facing cancer. Her research interests include developing new therapeutic approaches for treating advanced head and neck and thoracic malignancies.

Dr. Bauman is a member of the NCCN Palliative Care Panel and the NCCN Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Panel.
