Jennifer MacDonald PharmD, BCOP

Jennifer MacDonald is an oncology pharmacy specialist at Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, South Carolina. She is currently serving as the residency program director for the oncology residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. Jennifer began her pharmacy career at MUSC as a pharmacy student but her passion for oncology pharmacy blossomed during her 4th year of pharmacy on her first mal heme/BMT rotation. Throughout rotations as a student and PGY1, Jennifer quickly found oncology to be a great fit for her. She was fortunate to land a PGY2 in Oncology at Skaggs School of Pharmacy in Colorado where she received great mentorship and clinical preparation for her career. She has been working in gynecologic oncology since June of 2018 where her crowning achievements can be found by asking patients about their experiences with chemotherapy and their cancer care. Jennifer serves on several committees within the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, is well published, and continues to advocate for advances in both pharmacy oncology practice as well as treatment advances in gynecologic oncology. During her free time, though, you'll catch Jennifer outside with her husband and 2 boys - always on to another new adventure. The wife to a pilot, she is no stranger to travel and is constantly researching the next big trip for her family.
