James E. Bachman, MPA, is Chief Administrative Officer at The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
In his current role, Mr. Bachman is the administrative leader of the Cancer Service Line for Johns Hopkins Medicine and has overall responsibility for the successful development, implementation, and advancement of programmatic initiatives domestically and internationally.
Mr. Bachman has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, operations, capital project management, and performance improvement in complex environments. He has held progressively responsible healthcare leadership positions in organizations including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NYU Medical Center, University of Chicago Medicine and UCHealth.
Mr. Bachman serves on the NCCN Board of Directors and is a member of the NCCN Best Practices Committee.
