Jae H. Park, MD, is Chief of Cellular Therapy Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he also specializes in the care of patients with leukemia.

Dr. Park received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Park specializes in the care of patients with leukemia and has clinical expertise in adult acute and chronic leukemias, lymphoproliferative disorders, and cellular immunotherapy. Dr. Park’s ultimate goal as a physician is to develop new therapies and provide compassionate and individualized care to address each patient’s unique needs.

As an active translational investigator, Dr. Park has spent time both in the laboratory and in clinics to bring innovative, effective, and personalized treatments to patients with acute and chronic leukemia. He currently serves as the lead investigator of several clinical trials using CAR T-cells and other targeted agents to treat patients with hematologic malignancies. In addition, he has several first and senior author publications in New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Medicine, Blood, Leukemia, Cancer Discovery and others.

Dr. Park is a member of several professional organizations and has been awarded numerous honors and awards, including an NCCN Oncology Research Program Young Investigator Award, ASH Scholars Award, and LLS Innovation Team Award. His research has been recognized and funded by the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Geoffrey Beene Research Foundation.

Dr. Park is a member of the NCCN Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Panel and previously served on the Proposal Review Committee for the NCCN Oncology Research Program Young Investigator Awards.
