Elizabeth A. Souza, M.S., is the Executive Director at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cancer Center.

Beth completed her undergraduate in health policy and management at the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Beth has been a member of the Mass General Cancer Center Leadership Team for more than 25 years in various management roles and has been with Massachusetts General Hospital for over 30 years. In her current role, Beth oversees administrative and strategic leadership and clinical operations. She has oversight for Mass General Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology across all Mass General Cancer Center locations. She also has administrative and operational oversight for Ambulatory Operations, Ambulatory Nursing and Clinical Services, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Network Development and Integration & Strategic Partnerships, as well as Education, Communications, and Patient Experience.

Beth is a creative problem-solver and collaborative leader and works with the Mass General Cancer Center Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement the center's strategic and operational vision, while ensuring clinical operations excellence across all care sites. Beth was involved in the development of the Yawkey Ambulatory Cancer Center in Boston, including the development of the multidisciplinary care model and numerous innovative clinic and supportive care programs. Additionally, she has been critical in the development and ongoing operations of community-based cancer programs in Danvers, Waltham, Newton Wellesley, and Emerson Hospitals, as well as in affiliate sites throughout New England. She also is leading operational readiness efforts for the Ragon Building at Massachusetts General Hospital which will house the Mass General Cancer Center. Recognized for her dedication to the Mass General Cancer Center and ensuring patients have the best experience possible, Beth is a former 100 Honoree and an Everyday Amazing Healthcare Hero.

Beth serves on the NCCN Best Practices Committee, for which she has published and presented at annual meetings. Beth is also an NCCN Board Member.
