Elizabeth Dow-Hillgartner, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP, is a clinical pharmacist in hematology/oncology at University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. Her primary responsibilities include practicing in the gastrointestinal, breast, melanoma, and brain ambulatory oncology clinics. She also serves as a preceptor to PGY1 and PGY1 residents.
Dr. Dow-Hillgartner graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency, and a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Alongside hematology/oncology, Dr. Dow-Hillgartner is focused on ambulatory oncology services and interdisciplinary collaborative initiatives. Her research interests include immunotherapy and the role of the pharmacist in managing toxicities, advancing oncology pharmacy-based clinic services, and oncology supportive care optimization.
Dr. Dow-Hillgartner is committed to the advancement of the pharmacy profession, serving on both state and national pharmacy organizations.
