Dr. Chunlan Chang PhD

Chunlan Chang is Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Kyowa Kirin Inc. - a Japan-base biopharmaceutical company. She has over 15 years' experience in the HEOR field, particularly in real world evidence strategies and generation. She has worked in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, renal disease, rheumatology, chronic pain, and ophthalmology. Prior to Kyowa Kirin, Chunlan worked at Bristol Myer Squibb for two years to support pan-tumor and real world evidence strategies, and  for four years at Novartis to support the cardiovascular franchise. Prior to that, she worked for several years in the consulting industry collaborating with many large and small pharmaceutical companies to demonstrate the value proposition of medicinal products. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Health Policy and Masters' degrees in Pharmacy Administration and Biopharmaceutical Science. Before moving to the US, she practiced as an outpatient pharmacist back in Taiwan.
