Christopher R. D'Angelo, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).

Dr. D'Angelo received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, graduating with AOA honors. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. He subsequently completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Dr. D'Angelo specializes in lymphoma and multiple myeloma, with an emphasis on cellular therapies including bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy.

Dr. D'Angelo is an active researcher and serves as the Principal Investigator for several ongoing clinical trials in lymphoma and myeloma, particularly in cellular therapy. He conducts translational research in the gut microbiome in hematologic malignancies including multiple myeloma, CLL, and lymphoma. He has recently received the Great Plains IDeA CTR research scholar award at UNMC for a pilot clinical trial testing prebiotic therapy for patients with multiple myeloma and lymphoma undergoing CAR T-Cell therapy.

Dr. D'Angelo is a member of the NCCN Panel for Multiple Myeloma/Systemic Light Chain Amyloidosis/Waldenström Macroglobulinemia.
