Brian T. Hill MD, PhD

Brian T. Hill, MD, PhD, is Director of the Lymphoid Malignancies Program and a Staff Physician in the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, where he also serves as Co-Director of the Lymphoid Malignancies Center of Excellence. Dr. Hill also holds a faculty appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

Dr. Hill earned his PhD in genetics through work done at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York and received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he also completed an internal medicine residency. He subsequently completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute.

Dr. Hill's clinical and research focus is in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and lymphoma, including the use of stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapy to treat these diseases. Dr. Hill is the Principal Investigator of several ongoing clinical trials examining new cancer treatments including novel cellular therapies. He has published extensively on these topics.

In addition to his current roles, Dr. Hill serves as Chairman of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee within the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic. He also is a member of the Immune Oncology Program at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Among his professional memberships, Dr. Hill is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR).

Dr. Hill serves on the NCCN CLL/SLL/Hairy Cell Leukemia Panel.
